The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) is the public law that provides the framework for the proper management of hazardous and non-hazardous solid waste. The bill outlines the Congressionally mandated waste management program that gave EPA the authority to develop the RCRA program. The term CJRA is often used interchangeably to refer to EPO laws, regulations and policies and guidelines.
